Oily skin is caused by the sebaceous glands secreting excess of oil. Your face tends to look greasy and oily especially on the forehead, nose and chin. It is not a very pleasant look and nobody would like to go around with an oily face. There are various ways to prevent oily skin. These preventive measures have to be seriously followed to have good results.
Causes Of Oily Skin.
There are many reasons why one has oily skin. One main cause is the hereditary factor. If your parents have this type of skin you do tend to have it. During pregnancy there are a lot of hormonal imbalances due to which this problem is faced. Weather conditions play an important role on your skin. Summers tend to make your face oilier because of the sweat. During winter the skin looks dull and dry.
Prevent Oily Skin:
To prevent the pores from being clogged the face should be washed and cleaned properly. This should be done at least 3-4 times in a day. You should use plenty of hot water for the same. Do not use harsh products and go in for more mild cleansers and soaps. Antibacterial cleansing lotions can also be tried. For a shine free face you opt for an oil free moisturizer.
To prevent Oily Skin you have a variety of homemade face packs. This will help you prevent the oily face. These mainly include Mud or Clay Packs. Mud or Clay Packs are very effective for oily skin. They prevent the excess oil secretion and give your face a good matte effect.
An antiseptic night cream can be used regularly.
There are many natural ways in which you can prevent oily skin. The juice of lemon mixed with cucumber juice should be applied on the face. Keep it for 15 minutes and then wash. The result will definitely please you.
Mix Equal parts of lemon juice with water and apply on the face. Any fruit citric in nature is good for oily skin. Do this once or twice a day.
Diet rich in protein, intake of green leafy vegetables and fruits should be done to have a clean oil free complexion. Do not have oily or fried food.
Exercise regularly. It increases blood circulation. It nourishes and cleanses your skin.
