Liver is a smooth, cone-shaped, red-brown and rubbery, is situated in the upper right part of the abdomen where it is partly protected by the rib cage that is largest and heaviest internal organ, weighing around 3.5 lb. The division of liver is into a large right lobe, subdivided into three sections, and a smaller left lobe that tapers towards a tip, which is in contact with the stomach, intestines and esophagus. There are various segments in these lobes like and they contain hundreds of cells arranged like fine spokes radiating out from the central vein in a network of blood channels called sinusoids. When the liver is harmed it is because of drink-related disorders, notably acute hepatitis that is liver inflammation, which can become chronic, and cirrhosis greatly outnumber the incidence of all other liver diseases added together.

Hampering the functions of liver:

Most of the liver problems are caused because of hepatitis are viruses in contaminated food or drink when hygiene is poor, or infection in the serum from unsterilised syringes or blood transfusion. When one is in contact with viral hepatitis, the initial symptoms are flu-like leading to jaundice, a yellowing of the skin and eyes due to build-up of bile in the blood. There are some of hazardous effects on the liver that can cause a lot of problems as there are toxins that are released and they can cause a great harm to the health of a patient.

If one has to get rid of liver problems it is necessary that one should have a proper treatment once the problem is detected. Drinking alcohol in excess creates a lot of problems and also it is seen that if one is prone to administer drugs then it can aggravate the problem quite easily. Medicines should be taken only as directed and the people who are having the problem of hepatitis should take special care as it can be a problem for them in future if the liver does not function properly. Obesity is the reason for a multiple problems as it can ruin the entire health and hence one is advised to have a control on it.
