How does polar coach work?
Polar coach makes continuous analysis with its built-in Sonic Link data transfer feature. You have to just place the receiver near your PC with the microphone and sound card and start the transfer. No separate interface or wires are needed to transmit your performance data. The PC Coach Light Software calculates and analyses your performance. An easy-to-read graphical displays appear that show heart rate, time, distance, pace and intervals to be compared. This helps to analyze future training programs. Its new Interval trainer feature makes you concentrate on workouts instead of tracking laps and intervals. With 99 programmable intervals and adjustable target zone limits, it helps to know when performance needs to be easy and when it has needs to be improved more.

It can record lap and split times with average and current heart rates. It can record up to 8 hours of 60 samples of average heart rates that are downloadable with PC coach light and polar software products.
