Bagel Calories:

What is a bagel?
A bagel is a doughnut-shaped hard roll whose dough is first boiled and then baked. Basically bagel is a food traditionally made of yeasted wheat dough in the form of a roughly hand-sized ring which is boiled and then baked. Its result is a dense, doughy interior with a browned and sometimes crisp exterior. Fresh bagels can become stale very fast and sometimes it becomes hard and inedible when just one day old.
Bagels remain fresh for hardly 3 to 5 days and they freeze very well. But before freezing you should be sure to slice them in half as they will pop into your toaster much easier. Bagels are a high-energy food because of their complex carbohydrates which are equal to most power bars.
Bagels are of many types with different sizes for example plain bagel, egg bagel, onion bagel, poppy seed bagel and many more. Here bagel calories depend upon the size of bagel being served.
